Maya has discovered the joy of baking. She has mastered the boxed cake mix and I don't need to supervise. Dad made cream cheese frosting for her and she did the decorating. She named her cupcakes 'Purpleicious'. Maybe if I start to name the food I cook I'll like cooking. It could happen.

Dirty Socks~
Shasta Daisies are cheery and easy to grow. They are a perrenial and come back all on their own without any effort from me and Shasta Daisies smell like dirty socks. To me. After this season I'm moving these girls to the back corner of our yard where I don't have to come in to contact with them and smell them.

When I grow Up~~
The kids have started two weeks of swim lessons. They couldn't get in during the same time frame so I sit through two swim lessons. Ben goes first and Maya waits in anticipation for her lesson. She sings and just watches all the kids. When Maya is swimming, Ben is relaxed and content so he just sits and chomps ice with me.
This is pure heaven for a mom of talkers. Yes.all.four.kids.love.to.talk. I am not a talker so this is exhausting to me thus a quiet content child is bliss. Day one I finished a baby knit hat I had started during my first break at work. Day two I finished a book I'd been trying to finish and couldn't find the time. Day three I made progress on garden themed fabric ATC's I'm making for a swap. Day four I finished the Sunday school curriculum that I help out with on a monthly basis. Tomorrow it's more work on the ATC's.
I envision that I'm a stay at home mother waiting on her children and it's an every day occurrence to make progress on projects. No more being behind on things I want to work on. I start and finish on the same day because I know that's what those stay-at-home moms do while I'm really at work. When I grow up I want to be a stay-at-home mom. Six more days of progess here I come.

Updates~~
Seems no one is concerned about my well being because I haven't posted in a while. Seems they just want updates on what interests them and not one word of concern so FINE, here they are;
Here's the girl at 3 months. This is the beach where we used to lived in CA. Makes me homesick. I love the way her forehead is squished trying to handle the sunshine in this picture.

I had a pedicure. I KNEW you'd want to know. Leo did not have one. I think Juju wants one. The cats are hungry and are following me around while I try to take pictures so I can post this. Can you see Leo sitting at my feet waiting for me to take my toes picture?
Picture on the left is from their first swim. Put them in a painters tray so they could get out on the slope. They loved it. Look how little they were. Now only two can be in the 'deep end' at the same time. They're getting so big. During the day they are outside in a chicken wire enclosed area. They do EVERYTHING together. If one bobs his head, they all are bobbing. If one tries to flap it's wings, they all are flapping. They are funny. We are going to try to find a mama duck that has ducklings that are the same size. The Audubon Society said a mama duck would adopt five ducklings with no problem. The only problem is finding time to drive around looking for a mama duckling. No big surprise there.
