Re-Use~

We went to several garage sales last weekend and found treasures. Part of the fun day was the driving through the back roads. It was a beautiful Saturday and I do love driving around the Oregon back roads. So peaceful~~
Bowl .25, hand painted pitcher 1.oo, all this fabric 1.oo
All these were free. Sometimes there's a free box as you enter a garage sale: two coffee cups, tin stein, frog for flower arrangements, three brand new packages of paper flower embellishments. The red table cloth was .25.
Green table clothe, off white table cloth, embroidered doiley thing- .25 each. Old steel paper sorter- 2.00, vintage queen size sheets w/ two pillow cases- 2.35. I bought these because it has a tree design with different greens. Bought them to do crafts. Maybe something like this but I was thinking totes or quilts.

Belgium green glass canisters .50 for all three. And my favorite purchase, this turquoise and green table cloth for .25. The glass ball was free.

Wow - you had some great finds there! I'm not a big garage saler, but I do like to go poke around at them every once in a while...

Oooh great stuff. I DO love going to garage and estate sales! I however try to not take the kids (cause they wants all the toys and free junk) and because I need to try to limit myself to stuff I'll actually need or use or LOVE!

Yeah we love it too and the kids are totally into it so there's no leaving them at home. They mostly get books since I'm not open to bringing home more stuff to add to their stuff. We look for play clothes too.

Girl, that is some way cool stuff you've found! I tend to bring home tables, cupboards and wooden chairs, but City Boy is never happy when I do and ends up hauling most of it to the dump =)

And you didn't take me along why? Too much competition for the free art supplies? Ha ha. Way to go!
